[andthebearsbake] Chocolate Rice Swiss Roll

December is one of the months that we do lots of baking as both the Bears' birthdays fall in December and so are two of their aunts and not forgetting Christmas. The Bears always enjoy a baking session and can't wait to try their bakes. They also enjoy telling people that they were the ones that baked the cake with mummy's help. I came across Bake for Happy Kids: Cottony Soft Chocolate Rice Swiss Roll and decided that should be the cake for the sister. And we get down to baking!

[andthebearsbake] Olaf Tsum Tsum Macaroon with Earl Grey White Chocolate Filling

Christmas is around the corner and this time I have decided to bake some macaroons for the colleagues instead of buying them gifts. Since the Bears are fans of Frozen, Olaf naturally came to mind. This is the first time I am doing such a big batch by myself. I am really glad that the macaroons were well received!

[andthebearsbake] Coco Exotic Inspired Cake

It’s the sister’s birthday! The sister have always been a huge fan of Coco Exotic cake from Four Leaves, thus we have adapted the recipe from TheBaking Biatch – Cynthia’s Hazelnut Layers. The Bears are always excited and happy to help out in baking projects.

[andthebearsmake] DIY Clown Costume

Big Bear’s school is having Children’s Day celebration today and they are encouraged to be dressed up in circus themed costumes. As the forever enthusiastic Big Bear, she requested to be dressed up as a tiger. However it was quite a last minute request and sewing is never my forte. Therefore we settled with dressing up as a clown! We searched for colourful top and leggings and pair it up with a fluffy skirt. Taking out our craft materials, we did the hat and the collar together. We also added the flower balloon which we spotted on the floor.
